How do I sign up for the ELT program?

How do I request a motor vehicle record?
Copies of Title, Lien Search, and Copies of Registration Applications can all be requested from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Certified Information Unit. There is a fee of $15.00 for most records. More information on the Copies of Title (motor vehicle record) is available from the New Jersey MVC website.

What is the fee to apply for a lien on a title?
The standard fee for recording a lien is $85. Details about the application requirements are on the New Jersey MVC website. Note that lending institutions will require a Corporation Code to file a lien.
